** Important news about the future of NESCC **
NESCC is a chapter club of the New England Region of the Sports Car Club of America (NER/SCCA). We're a local auto enthusiast group that holds autocross events in central New England. We run our events per the SCCA Solo II rules, with supplementals to meet our needs. NESCC runs Pro PAX class, Ladies PAX class and normal open classes. See the Event Info page for details on the Pro Class and Open Class Challenge.
To compete, you need some sort of car that is reasonably safe. We will check at a minimum tires, wheel bearings, battery tie downs and throttle return springs, seatbelts and adequate mufflers. You will also need a valid driver's license and a Snell 90+ (either M or SA) helmet.
IMPORTANT: There are sound restrictions at Devens that will be VERY strictly enforced. If you can't take this seriously, don't bother showing up. Our continued use of Devens depends on keeping noise down. You can expect the same (or tougher) restrictions at any other sites the NESCC is able to aquire.
IMPORTANT: Driver's under 18 years of age, must have a consent form signed by both parents. This waiver can be for the entire season so it only needs to be done once, but it must be done. If there are issues with the "both parents" part contact us and we'll resolve it.
For more information about autocrossing follow the NER SOLO II link on the Autocross links page of this site.
